Job Description: SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – Contract

We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on various civil engineering projects at refinery in Southampton. Works comprise RC structures, enabling works, steel works, foundations, deep excavations, drainage, pipe repairs.
Based on site, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with and report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and will receive support from an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, using various forms of contract, including NEC3 Lump Sum, Schedule of Rates and a bespoke re-measurable contract.

* Valuations
* Change Control / Compensation Events
* Subcontractor Procurement
* CVR's
* Early Warnings
* Updating Risk Register
* Monthly Commercial Reporting
* Cash Flow Forecasts
* Subcontractor Payments
* Dispute Resolution
* Final accounts
Desired Skills / Background:
* HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or by experience
* Working knowledge of NEC
