Type of work: Refurbishments and extensions to hospitals – small works up to larger extensions/ward refurbishments
Salary: £45k + car allowance, pension, healthcare
A great opportunity to join a well established, family run business who operate nationally and have a great reputation.
They are recruiting for a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis, to work on a large scheme in Manchester. Work is both tendered works and measured term contract and includes ward refurbishments, external works, M&E, demolition etc.
You will report into a Contracts Manager and be responsible for 2 Site Managers and 2 Supervisors underneath you.
Duties:
Regular liaison with the client to ensure clarity and consistency of communications and the speedy resolution of issues thus ensuring a strong working partnership
Continuous planning and overview of the contract to ensure that at all times the Company are fulfilling the requirements of the contract
Presentation skills to the extent of explaining projects to both clients and internally.
Allocation of workloads and duties between the managers, and other office staff to ensure that at all times the correct priorities are maintained and that issues and problems within the branch are dealt with in an effective and efficient way.
Ensure development and maintenance of appropriate project management tools and procedures throughout the development process.
Coordinate the full construction process onsite and post construction
