Job Description: Fibre Telecoms Engineer – Liverpool
PSR are currently recruiting for Fibre Telecoms Engineer to work on a fibre project in Liverpool.
Responsibilities:
Route proving of underground ducts.
Installation of optical fibre cable, connect block terminals and equipment required to complete works to quality standards.
Installation of optical fibre cable, bundles and blown fibre tubing using fibre-blowing equipment to required standards, including fault finding on existing network.
Typical work types include fibre, FTTP, PON and spine.
Build a network to the expected quality standardsSkills and Experience (preferable):
SA001 – Safety Overhead
SA002 – Safety Underground
K8 – Hand Rodding in the UG Network
N27 – One Fibre Network Cabling in the Overhead Network
Ability to produce, update and interpret records of daily work logs and data recordings.
Adhere to all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
