Permanent – Salary up to £45k plus package
We have an opportunity for a SHE Advisor to join our client's team supporting the FM business within the London and South East region. The focus of this role is to provide professional SHE support, advice and coaching at regional business level; engaging with Project Teams, Ops Directors and supply chain peers to ensure that the business SHE policy is promoted and effectively deployed.
Key Accountabilities will also include:
Assist in the maintenance of the Company's SHE Management System and associated documentation
Assist and support Directors, Managers/Department Heads and Supervisors in their task of implementing the Company SHE Policy.
Visit/inspect sites, offices and associated plants in order monitor the safety and environmental performance of our client and investigate; giving guidance upon any hazardous practices or operations; exercising in relevant situations the power to cease all further work by our client and its sub-contract employees until adequate remedial action has been taken.
Review absence due to accident or injury at work and ensure that reportable occurrences are notified to the relevant enforcing authority.We are looking for you to have previous experience in a Health & Safety position ideally within the FM sector, and to have NEBOSH General or Construction certificate, demonstrate a basic level of the required safety knowledge, along with knowledge of PASMA, IPAF, asbestos, and other general construction equipment, systems, activities and associated legislation.
